Monique’s habitat was embellished with lovely decorations, and she was granted exceptional playthings. Regrettably, when the day of her eagerly awaited arrival arrived, not even one person appeared despite the shelter’s tireless attempts to disseminate the news across the community.
The staff had a suspicion that some people might hesitate to adopt Monique because of her Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Many believe that cats with FIV inevitably face death since there is no cure for the disease. However, just like humans with HIV, cats with FIV can lead happy and healthy lives.
To ensure Monique’s safety and prevent the spread of the virus, anyone who wishes to adopt her should make sure their garden is secure from other cats. This will allow Monique to enjoy the outdoor environment without any health risks. Nevertheless, it’s worth mentioning that humans cannot catch FIV from cats.
The staff members at the shelter have only positive things to say about Monique. They describe her as a charming and loving creature who adores being around people. It’s always heart-wrenching to witness an animal looking for a new home, especially when they possess such an abundance of affection to offer and would be an excellent companion.
After her private celebration photos were posted on social media, they quickly went viral and caught the attention of many people. Despite this, the shelter remained hopeful that the perfect person would come across them.
Adnan, a resident of London, was enjoying his evening by watching the local news when he stumbled upon Monique’s photograph. The furry and cute tabby cat caught his attention immediately, and Adnan realized that he wanted to adopt her and give her a forever home. He promptly submitted his adoption application to find the perfect match for Monique.
Before long, she had already made herself at home in her new abode and Adnan couldn’t have been happier.
According to Adnan, he has only been keeping the company of Monique since March. He talks about Monique as a talkative feline who greets him every morning and demands treats whenever she’s in the mood. Adnan further adds that Monique is constantly sticking to him, seeking affection by nudging him with her head for scratches and cuddles.
Monique is having a great time with her new human who she’ll be living with forever. In the beginning, she was always eager to jump onto her owner’s lap, which sometimes made it tough for them to get work done. But now, she’s found plenty of comfy places around the house to take naps and prefers to call her owner over for a few loving pets. We wish Monique and Adnan a long and happy life together!
The shelter for animals has shared that they’re still receiving inquiries from people who are interested in adopting the cat. We hope that those who are considering adopting will also think about giving another feline a loving home.
