After being lost, a dog has finally been reunited with its owner who found it 310 miles away from their home.
In Côte-d’Or, France, there was a one-year-old Malinois Shepherd called Bandit who went missing from his home. This left his owner, Farid, extremely upset and he spent several months trying to locate his dear companion. Despite his best efforts, Farid had no luck finding Bandit. However, after a grueling eight months, an unknown individual discovered Bandit by the roadside.
It’s quite disheartening to know that a 4-month-old puppy was stolen. However, there is a positive aspect to this story since the pup was recovered even without a collar. The reason behind the reunion was the tiny microchip that the puppy had, which enabled him to be reunited with his owner despite being almost 310 miles away from home.
The reunion between Bandit and Farid was a roaring success as the two great pals were overjoyed to meet each other again! All thanks to a kind Samaritan, a shelter and a microchip, these two adorable dogs can now spend their days together. Farid’s face lit up with excitement when he heard the good news and he rushed straight to Bandit’s location.
With heartfelt appreciation, he expressed his thanks to all those who helped in nursing his beloved pet back to health. In emphasizing the importance of microchipping pets, he recognized that Bandit’s safe return was nothing short of a miracle that wouldn’t have been possible without the microchip. He went on to say that the day Bandit finally returned home was one of the happiest days of his life.
