Chad Mitchell, a former resident of Florida, took a leisurely bike ride around the neighborhood. However, as he went beyond the residential area and reached the outskirts of the city, he heard an incomprehensible noise. Thinking it was his bike, Chad stopped to check, but it turned out fine. The noise persisted, prompting him to look around and across the road where he finally spotted a small wet ball of wool in a puddle. Upon closer inspection, Chad discovered a kitten that was soaked through with rainwater and barely alive. Without hesitation, he picked up the kitten and placed it in his baseball cap before bringing it home.
He and his wife started to dry the helpless pet with towels and nursed it back to health at their residence. After a few hours, the little cat came back to life and started to move around energetically.
Following that, the little one was taken to the veterinarian. It was discovered that despite his small size, he was already 2 months old.
Chad and his spouse opted to adopt the adorable kitten, showering it with affection, tenderness and comfort.
After a couple of weeks, the furry friend was already frolicking with all its might, and the memory of its tough, chilly past was long gone.
