This man is inseparable from his furry family of eleven. With a bicycle, vehicle, and an unwavering love for his pets, he embarked on an incredible journey across the country. Despite facing challenges along the way, they persevered and have now settled into a cozy home after travelling more than 2,000 miles. Steve’s heart and home are always open to every stray dog he encounters during his travels. Though he may not have much in terms of material wealth, he’s undoubtedly rich in love. Over the past 14 years, Steve has welcomed more than 50 four-legged friends into his family, and at one point, even took a bold trip from California to Indiana, accompanied by his loyal companions.
Despite the challenges he faced, Steve made the decision not to give up his furry family and surrender them to a shelter. His companions included a mother dog with her adorable pups, and with only a bicycle and a vehicle at his disposal, they set out on a journey spanning approximately 2,000 miles, exploring different parts of the country along the way. Eventually, their adventure brought them into contact with Alicia Edrington, a compassionate woman who stepped in to help them out.
Mickey, the mother of Alicia, contacted for help and kindly provided financial support to ensure that Steve and his pets have a temporary place to stay.
Kerry, a representative from the West Memphis animal shelter, stopped by and made a purchase of 100 pounds of dog food for their furry friends.
Some individuals brought equipment like leashes and harnesses for their beloved pets, whereas Steve and his animals were given an extended stay at the inn to accommodate more visitors. The Edringtons sought assistance, and with the aid of a benevolent resident from Tennessee named Kelley Seaton, they were able to safely make it to their intended location in Indiana.
