Leading his selection are the iconic duo of Lionel Messi, formerly of Barcelona, and Cristiano Ronaldo, known for his time at Real Madrid. Torres also included Spanish football star David Villa, his current Barcelona teammate Robert Lewandowski, and England’s Harry Kane from Bayern Munich.
In a statement reported by Barca Universal, Torres expressed his admiration for these exceptional players, saying, “My top 5 favourite forwards? Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Villa, Lewandowski, Harry Kane.”
Messi, now playing for Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, boasts an impressive career record with a total of 715 goals and 343 assists for Barcelona, Inter Miami, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Ronaldo, currently with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, has accumulated 739 goals and 236 assists across his illustrious club career. David Villa, a former Spain, Valencia, and Barcelona striker, netted 341 goals at the club level and added 59 for Spain.
Lewandowski, presently a key player for Barcelona, has scored 554 club career goals and 82 for Poland. Harry Kane has made a significant impact with 320 goals for his clubs and 62 for the England national team.
