When the Community Cat Club (located in South Jersey) took in a senior feline, he was already about 7-8 years old. This cat had lived most of his life hoarding with over twenty other cats and animals. Founder of the Community Cat Club, Sara Sharp shared that it was time for the cat to experience a better life. After being saved along with the other animals, the Captain waited patiently and showed a sweet disposition while waiting to transition to his foster home. Once out of the aircraft carrier, the cat displayed a friendly and docile manner, craving human affection and love. According to Sharp, the Captain is a loving and delightful cat who adores snuggles from everyone he meets.

In no time, he adapted to his new surroundings and felt a sense of belongingness. The Captain was a delightful addition to the household, coming in with an amiable disposition, eagerly seeking affection from everyone. His charming ways, big doe-eyes, and plump cheeks won over hearts effortlessly. Finally, the Captain had a roomy accommodation for himself, with a large bed to share with his human companion. He was ecstatic to have access to fresh, clean blankets and other soft items at his disposal.

He thoroughly enjoys spending time with his foster family and revels in their love and attention. According to his foster carers, he adores receiving kisses and is known for his loyalty, gentle nature, sense of humor, and penchant for snuggling up for attention. The captain is overjoyed to finally have a space of his own and a cozy bed to doze off in. He’s all set to find his forever home where he can receive undivided attention and be the center of everyone’s affection.

A social media post featuring the Captain was stumbled upon by a couple who were immediately smitten by his adorable appearance. They paid a visit to the adoption center with fingers crossed that the Captain would feel the same way about them. The meet and greet went exceptionally well as the Captain was thrilled to meet the couple and swiftly won them over. “It was an instant connection. They embraced him and he snuggled right up in their arms. They knew he was the one,” Sara gushed.

It took over seven years, but Captain finally got his wish – he has a permanent home and the undivided attention of his human family. He’s like their little anchor now, always keeping an eye on them and accompanying them wherever they go. Captain loves to snuggle up with his parents, whether it’s napping with them or perching on their shoulder like a king of the castle.

The adorable feline is now flourishing as the family’s beloved caretaker, ensuring that his humans never feel lonely. Just a short while ago, Captain was coexisting with over 20 other creatures in a cramped space. But now, he’s living like royalty in his own domain alongside his ideal family.
