A tiny feline, who had been exploring the great outdoors, scampered up to a lady and altered her entire life.

Rue, the Kitten at Tiny Paws Fosters
AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue’s fosterer and animal rescuer, Nadija, received a request about a stray kitten that had been loitering around a resident’s home. The little feline was severely emaciated, and her face was smothered with scabs.
Upon examining the kitten’s condition, Nadija immediately drove to the location, hoping to take the feeble cat to an emergency vet. However, upon arriving, the kitten played hard-to-get and did not come to them initially.
The timid stray scurried from one spot to another, giving her saviors a tough time.

@tiny.paws.fosters shared that they were playing tag with a kitten when they decided to play a video of a mama cat meowing from YouTube. Surprisingly, the kitten ran towards them, meowing back and appeared to be happy. It’s possible that the kitten mistook the rescuer for another kitty or thought it was her mother calling her. The rescuer then took the kitten to the emergency room where she continued to knead and even flopped over for snuggles.

Rue, a kitten taken in by @tiny.paws.fosters, was dealing with various health problems such as upper respiratory and eye infections, dehydration, and digestive issues. The little feline had to spend a night at the emergency room to receive proper treatment. However, despite feeling unwell and surrounded by unfamiliar faces, Rue managed to stay positive and even made biscuits throughout her stay.

While at the [email protected], Rue was seen kneading on her blanket. The following day, Rue’s spirits lifted, and she began eating and taking her medication without any issues. Her friend Nadija came to take her home for fostering, and Rue welcomed her with snuggles and even playful behavior. Nadija shared with Love Meow that Rue’s good mood reassured her that she would be okay.

After receiving some tender love and care from the folks at tiny.paws.fosters, Rue’s appearance vastly improved in just a few days. She gradually became more comfortable with the idea of living with humans in a cozy home, and her facial crust disappeared, allowing her to breathe much easier. Her energy levels also notably increased.
Rue delighted in playing with toys and adjusting to the indoor lifestyle that she wasn’t used to. As time passed, she became less anxious and more at ease.

@tiny.paws.fosters shared that the kitten they took in was initially very timid, shy, and sensitive. Even the slightest noise or quick movement would cause her to either freeze or hide. However, after weeks of being with them, Rue has transformed into a confident kitten. She is no longer the same kitten they first met. Her favorite spot to nap in is a basket filled with blankets. Whenever she plops down in it, she immediately dozes off.

This little furry friend loves to run around the house, causing chaos and playing with other foster kittens. She’s not afraid to pounce on any small toy that she comes across, showing off her playful personality.
