A little kitty that was born blind was not accepted by his siblings, but he finally found a loving owner who changed his life. The person who adopted him came back for the kitten and gave him the care and affection he deserved.
Kerry Denman, a resident of London, England, had gone to spend some time with a litter of kittens that were up for adoption. The intention was to only give them some cuddle time and not adopt any. However, Kerry noticed a tiny gray and white kitten who was alone, nested on top of a laundry basket. The kittie had been rejected by his mother and littermates due to being born blind with patellar luxation and skeletal abnormalities. Kerry picked him up, stroked his head, and he felt relaxed. Kerry initially went back home but couldn’t stop thinking about the little blind kitten. She named him Louie the Blind Cat and brought him home the next day. Louie quickly adjusted to his new surroundings and explored his surroundings without any fear.
Kerry Denman recalls the early days when Louie, the sightless cat, would follow her voice and sit beside her. Louie loves playing with noisy toys and despite being blind, he runs around the room and enjoys zoomie moments. According to Kerry, Louie follows them around and always wants to be included in whatever action is happening. He is particular about cuddles and likes to lie between Kerry’s legs when she’s in bed. Kerry thinks that Louie’s senses and whiskers work together well, which makes his blindness less of an issue. While Louie has had some health issues over the years, he continues to live life to the fullest. Watch him in action in an adorable video. Louie is indeed a little supervisor on duty!
Kerry Denman describes someone with a naturally cheerful and peaceful disposition, possessing a strong determination to survive despite facing various challenges in life. Despite not having the greatest fortune, this individual perseveres and always moves forward.
