Lorena Castro was driving around when she spotted a tiny ginger kitten on the busy highway. She immediately halted her vehicle and got ready to save the kitten. But, a cop who was nearby advised her to stay inside her car and let him handle the matter. This news was reported by Newsier.

Castro successfully captured the entire rescue mission on video. The officer stopped a bus that was approaching to ensure the safe retrieval of the kitten and its removal from the road.

As he walked over to Castro’s vehicle, he blew his whistle to signal the speeding cars to slow down. He then handed over the kitten to her, displaying his tender demeanor.

Castro made an offer to make amends with the officer for what had happened, however, the officer graciously declined the offer and went back to performing his duties without expecting any form of compensation.

Castro has welcomed a new furry friend into his home, a kitten named Polly Tana, named after the local bus line. The little cat is settling in nicely and thriving under Castro’s loving attention. They had a wonderful first day together!
