Meet “Duck” – a charming tabby kitten who exudes an infectious zest for life and has a personality bigger than her tiny frame. Although she suffered a severe injury, which resulted in the complete destruction of her front legs, Duck’s resilience and fighting spirit remain unscathed. She was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic where both limbs were amputated to save her life. Nevertheless, even after such a traumatic experience, this little kitty has not lost her joie de vivre.

Duck is residing in Florida with her foster family who now have adopted her as their own. She is enjoying a happy life with them. Love Meow mentioned that Duck’s owner suspects that she got injured while sleeping inside the engine bay of a car, but no one is certain about what caused her injuries.

Following her clinic visit and receiving surgical intervention, she was relocated to a foster home environment that allowed her to convalesce, adapt to her new living conditions, and receive abundant care and nurturing.

Initially meant to be a short-term solution, Duck effortlessly won over the household and became an irreplaceable member of the family. Despite her unfortunate injury resulting in the loss of a limb, Duck remained joyful and exuberant, infecting everyone in the home with her enthusiastic spirit.

The duck adjusted effortlessly to her new surroundings and exhibited no signs of longing for the past. In fact, she faced every obstacle with optimism and resolve, and promptly discovered how to move around the house independently by relying on her hind legs and tail.

The family presented Duck with a wheelchair designed for cats, but unfortunately, she didn’t take a liking to it. Instead, the adorable feline prefers to move around on her hind legs and uses her tail to maintain balance; this gives her the freedom of mobility she desires.

Once she figured out how to effectively employ her hind legs and tail, she immediately started to wander around the house and run back and forth on the floor. Now, she can achieve lightning-fast speeds and spends the entire day rushing around the house and yard.

The fortunate Little Duck is blessed with a large and affectionate family, and they are equally fortunate to have such a lively and warm family member who brings joy and laughter to their lives. Despite losing her legs, Duck has never lost her zest for life. This tiny feline is a source of inspiration, and it’s heartwarming to see that she has found a family who cherishes and admires every aspect of her.
