“Meri Brown from ‘Sister Wives’ Responds to Backlash Over Her Remarks on Robyn Brown, Kody’s Wife”

Meri Brown has addressed criticisms leveled against her by an unnamed psychologist in a recent Instagram video. The psychologist had claimed that Meri couldn’t disagree with someone if she supported them and had their back. This was likely a reference to Meri’s statement on a recent episode of Sister Wives that she had Robyn Brown’s back, despite not agreeing with all her actions and thoughts. However, in her new video, Meri refuted the suggestion that supporting someone meant agreeing with everything they did or said. She filmed the clip in New York City’s Central Park.

Robyn, Meri, and Kody Brown

With all due respect, I have a different opinion. Supporting someone and having their back does not necessarily mean agreement with everything they say or do. It is well within our rights to hold differing values and perspectives while still providing support. I firmly believe that having someone’s back goes beyond shared opinions. In fact, it allows us to learn and grow by having our own unique views and allowing others to have theirs as well. In light of this, I will continue to offer my support to the individual in question. After all, isn’t that what life is all about – learning, growing, and respecting diverse viewpoints?

Sister Wives' Star Meri Brown Shuts Down Criticism Over Her Comments About Kody's Wife Robyn Brown | Entertainment Tonight

After a series of recent splits, Robyn remains the only wife of Kody Brown. Christine Brown left Kody and moved to Utah in 2021 and is now engaged to David Woolley. Janelle Brown also revealed during the show’s One-on-One special earlier this year that she and Kody separated and has referred to herself as “single” recently. Meri announced in January that she and Kody had ended their marriage permanently after years of estrangement. Despite accusations of being Kody’s “favorite,” which caused tension within the Brown family, Robyn and Meri have been close on the TLC series. They often get together to talk through the drama with Kody’s other wives. Kody and Meri share a child, Leon Brown, who came out as transgender in 2022. In total, Kody is the father of 18 children.
