A family opted for two feline friends who were known to be introverted and had been in the shelter for quite some time. Fortunately, this choice proved to be a great one.

Meet JoJo and KC, two furry brothers who had a tough start in life. These feline buddies were discovered abandoned in an apartment and were taken in by Animal Control. Fortunately, they were rescued and made their way to Exploits Valley SPCA. However, the experience left them feeling scared and withdrawn. The shelter staff observed that the cats had trust issues due to their past experiences. Despite their reservations, JoJo and KC started to venture out of their hiding places when the building was quiet. They explored their new surroundings with curiosity, but still preferred to keep to themselves to avoid the hustle and bustle of foot traffic and noise.

The hustle and bustle of the shelter makes KC and JoJo uneasy. Despite being cuddled up on top of their cages, they tend to go unnoticed by visitors. Their chances of being adopted are slim as they are constantly overshadowed by outgoing cats and kittens who eagerly jump into people’s arms. These two feline friends always seem to fall under the radar.
KC is known to be a bit shy, whereas JoJo is a tad braver and will approach volunteers or staff when things settle down. He loves to curl up in a lap and bask in the warmth of human affection as he purrs contentedly.

According to Exploits Valley SPCA, the cats they have aren’t the immediate affectionate type upon first meeting them. However, that doesn’t mean they don’t have love to give or won’t show it eventually. These two cats are both gentle and timid, preferring to spend their time snuggled up together away from the hustle and bustle of others.

These two furry siblings are inseparable, making them bonded brothers in every sense of the word. The Exploits Valley SPCA had been searching for a loving family that could gain their trust and show them the meaning of love. However, this task wasn’t as easy as it seemed. KC and JoJo struggled to find someone who would be willing to put in the effort and time required to make them feel loved and secure.

Despite their best efforts, month after month passed without any luck. That was until Sacha came across their story and decided to meet them. She knew that these shy felines needed someone special to change their lives. After over six months of waiting, KC and JoJo finally found their forever home with Sacha.

Sacha and her family patiently waited for more than six months to find their perfect furry companions. They reached out to Exploits Valley SPCA to inquire about cats in need of a home, and learned about KC and JoJo – two brothers who had been at the shelter for a while and were still adjusting to their surroundings. Sacha was particularly touched by their story and decided to pay them a visit the following day. Upon arriving at the shelter, she made it clear that she was interested in adopting the brothers and wanted to give them the love and attention they deserved.

When Sacha visited the Exploits Valley SPCA, the staff warned her that one of the cats, KC, was extremely frightened and would be difficult to approach. True enough, when she arrived, KC was hiding on the topmost cage, as well as his brother JoJo who also found his own hiding spot. Despite meeting other cats, Sacha could not forget about the brothers and ultimately decided to adopt them both with her parents’ support.

Sacha had the pleasure of adopting both KC and JoJo, two brothers who were inseparable. She went back the next day to pick them up and drove them to their new forever home. After spending a month there, the brothers finally feel at ease and are showing their true personalities. KC and JoJo are getting comfortable in their new surroundings and are starting to come out of their shells.

At ExploitsValleySPCA, the furry buddies are adorable. JoJo is a friendly one who will come to you for scratches. He’s so comfortable with you that he will roll over on his belly for a full belly rub. However, KC is a bit shy and won’t ask for attention but will surely accept it if you give him some. The boys have their quirks; every morning, they wait outside their mom’s bedroom door, eagerly anticipating their breakfast. They even expect to get their hands (or paws) on some of dad’s cooking!

Sacha
The bond between the two brothers is growing stronger with each passing day. They enjoy snuggling up to one another, inseparable like two peas in a pod.
KC and JoJo were initially shy and overlooked for almost a year, but they have since flourished. It brings immense joy to see these two siblings finally find their forever home together.
