The cat was thrilled to have a new companion in the form of a recently adopted kitten discovered at the car dealership. These tiny creatures are simply adorable and bring so much joy.

About a month ago, Erica Whitsell, who is an advocate for rescuing kittens and also works as a veterinary technician, received an urgent call for help. It was about a kitten that was found all alone in a car dealership without its mother. The people who found the kitten did the right thing by waiting and observing for some time before calling for assistance, but unfortunately, the mother cat didn’t return. After hearing about the kitten’s situation, Erica didn’t hesitate to help. She took the kitten under her care, saying that she started working on it as soon as it was brought to her.

While browsing through a car lot, Erica Whitsell stumbled upon a tiny kitten, whom she named Parker. Despite being a mere 5-6 days old, the kitten was surprisingly underweight and much smaller than what one would expect from a newborn. It was evident that Parker hadn’t eaten properly in the past few days and was frail and bony. Initially, Erica had some concerns about providing the right care for the delicate little furball. However, she dedicatedly arranged for a warm and comfortable bed for Parker and made sure to feed her with a bottle every few hours.

Erica Whitsell feels a sense of relief as her little one, Parker, finally grasps the art of latching onto a bottle and excitedly gulps down the formula. It appears that the baby is making up for lost time by devouring the nourishing drink with gusto. Erica is cautiously hopeful that Parker’s insatiable hunger will help her regain the meals she may have missed.

As Parker woke up, she was met with a fresh outlook on the world around her. The household’s resident calico cat, Phoebe, perked up as she heard the sound of a new feline presence. Although they hadn’t formally met yet, Phoebe showed interest and kept a watchful eye on the new kitten from outside of their enclosure with great patience.

According to Erica Whitsell, Phoebe would spend long hours gazing outside of Parker’s pen, observing her every move as she started crawling and playing around. The adorable pup truly adored her tiny friend and couldn’t wait for the moment when Parker would finally be able to join her for some outdoor fun.

Erica Whitsell shared that Parker showed impressive improvement within just two weeks of being in foster care. Parker’s energy levels increased significantly and he was enthusiastic about playing with another dog, exhibiting bravery and confidence. Phoebe, who had the opportunity to meet Parker for the first time, was thrilled with the encounter.

Erica Whitsell recently revealed to Love Meow that Phoebe displayed a compassionate and gentle demeanor towards Parker right from the start. Phoebe took it upon herself to instruct Parker on how to act like a feline since he never had the opportunity to interact with any of his kind while being raised by humans. This consists of teaching him how to play correctly and understand the body language of other cats.

Parker has found a wonderful mentor in Phoebe, who is not only teaching her some awesome cat skills, but also urging her to have fun. The litter box is no longer a problem for Parker as she has learned how to use it by mimicking Phoebe’s actions. With her endearing personality, Phoebe loves spending time with the little gray kitten and constantly encourages her to take risks and enjoy new experiences.

Parker has had a great deal of success thanks to her loving foster mother and the unwavering encouragement from Phoebe. When they’re not busy having a blast, the pair enjoy cuddling up and dozing off into a peaceful sleep.
