After coming across a video of an adorable kitten with blue eyes, Hanna felt compelled to adopt the feline into her home. As a veterinary technician, she believed she could help the terminally ill cat who suffered from cerebral hypoplasia. It wasn’t until later that she discovered another unique characteristic about this furry friend.
Hannah made the choice to give her furry friend the moniker of Tipsy, a name that reflects his wobbly behavior. Due to his condition, the cat often struggled to remain upright on his feet and would sometimes stumble or topple over. His movements were reminiscent of someone who had consumed too much alcohol, and in an effort to find some humor in the situation, Hannah decided to call him Tipsy.
Hanna’s house welcomed an unexpected visitor in the form of a tiny, two-month-old kitten. Despite knowing that the little feline was suffering from cerebral hypoplasia, Hanna made it her priority to ensure that the kitten was given a comfortable and happy home. However, on closer inspection, she realized that there was more to the kitten’s medical condition than just that. Something was off with his eyes.
Despite this discovery, the kitten proved to be intelligent and quick to adapt to his new surroundings. He didn’t require much exercise and lived comfortably in his cage. It was only later that Hanna discovered that the kitten, who she had named Tipsy, was in fact blind – something that the shelter had failed to notice.
Hanna noticed that her pet Tipsy was stumbling around the house and was not even paying attention to the toys she waved in front of his nose. She suspected that it might be a symptom of hypoplasia, but later found out that Tipsy was actually blind. Despite this, Tipsy managed to adapt to his condition and Hannah believes that he will eventually learn to move without falling over. According to Hanna, Tipsy does not feel like he is “special” and enjoys playing just like any other healthy kitten. He even loves running after the dogs in the house and is grateful for the love and care he receives from his owner.
When others lay their eyes on Tipsy, the blind kitty who struggles to move around, they often feel empathy and sometimes even shed a tear. However, Hanna is confident that Tipsy will thrive because they provide him with attentive care and shower him with affection.
We are genuinely happy to know that Tipsy has found a fantastic hostess who will keep him company and ensure he never feels lonely or sad!
